A letter to our friends and supporters:

tumblr_mhvwe3y11g1r66zduo1_500We have some exciting changes to tell you about! Unitarian Kaláka has been on hiatus for the past few months, but we are looking ahead to the fall – and a new way of crowdfunding for projects in Transylvania.

Our two-year pilot program during 2015 and 2016 successfully funded eight projects in Unitarian villages. Your support was deeply appreciated. Now, we would like to broaden our efforts by crowdfunding through a UU website called Faithify.org.

Some of you may be familiar with Faithify. It attracts over 4,000 users, giving us a larger audience to promote our community development kaláka projects.

We still plan to work with our partners in Transylvania, SzKA, who will help us identify village projects and coordinate with local volunteers. Our website and Facebook page will continue to be a place to turn for updates on Unitarian Kaláka, and also for information on how to donate to our non-profit organization.

So! Stay tuned for other changes as we make this transition. Thank you for staying engaged with Unitarian Kaláka!

Happy summer one and all,

Ann, Marge and Lily
